Save Krain Corner

Aces Up has agreed to play a benefit show in their hometown of Enumclaw, Wa.  The benefit is for the famous Krain Corner, a local eatery that has been a local landmark for almost 100 years.  Sadly, this hometown breakfast spot is experiencing some hard times, and is facing closure if something doesn't happen quickly.  November 13th the band will take the stage with several artists (yet to be announced) to help raise money for The Corner.  The even will take place in Cumberland, Washington.  More details will be announced shortly, but mark your calenders and tell your friends.  Together we can save Krain Corner!  Be a part of saving a piece of history.

Congradulations Josh and Kayleen!!!

Bassist Joshua Olsen and his long time love Kayleen Redmond, or should we say Mrs. Olsen, tied the knot on August 7th.  The wedding was held at Back Acres Horse Farm in Enumclaw, WA.  It was a beautiful day, with a truly beautiful bride and was one hell of a party!  The ceremony was officiated by Joshua's father Rev. Harry Olsen, and included a special live performance by his mother Carol Olsen, her identical twin sister Betty Nash, and his sister Rebekah Lind.  Kayleen entered the arena on horseback to Lady Antebellums "American Honey" and was walked down the isle by her father Brad Redmond, to Ray Charles "Amazing Grace."  There wasn't a dry eye in the room!  The reception was held in the barn with horse looking on from adjacent stalls, and thing quickly turned into a full blow, down home, hoe down!  It was a wonderful time of friends, family, and celebration.  Congratulations guys.  We love you, and we know you're the real deal.  Be sure to congratulate Joshua and Kayleen at the next show.

Thanks Kimo Muraki

Thanks to Kimo Muraki for spending some time with the band in studio last night.  Kimo, one of Seattles most well know musicians took time out of his schedule to lay down some Pedal Steel tracks for Aces Up's live show.  It was clear in about 5 min that Kimo was a true professional, and he was able to lay down all the tracks in less than two hours.  We were all truly impressed by Kimo as a person and as a musician.  Thanks again Kimo and we look forward working with you in the future.
